COVID-19 Update & Fall Class Poll

Dear Dance Families,

We miss you so much! Salish Sea Ballet is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic as Washington state moves through the reopening phases. My primary concern is for the health of our community, our dancers, and our staff. I’d like to give you an update on where we stand with reopening.

Dance industry leaders have released health and safety guidelines specifically for the reopening of dance studios. I have carefully reviewed these guidelines along with those of the CDC and state/county Departments of Health.

Based on dance industry health guidelines, Salish Sea Ballet will not be offering any in-person classes during summer 2020.

I would love to hear what you think about attending Fall classes! Visit this link to complete a quick 2 question survey on our Fall class offerings:

Our virtual adult classes and private lessons will continue through July 29. We will be closed starting July 30 through August in order to prepare for reopening. If you have a class card on file, your card will be kept on your account so that you can pick up where you left off in September.

I will be working hard during this time to develop new health and safety policies, adapt our curriculum, and make the necessary changes in our studio that will hopefully allow us to open in September.

I sincerely appreciate your patience as we navigate this unprecedented closure. I am committed to keeping everyone safe and healthy, and it is my hope that we can all meet again in the fall!

Miss Jeanne
